总是忘不了电影《搏击俱乐部》的结尾：主人公narrantor和marla在多幢大楼的轰然倒塌中相拥，镜头上一个男性的阳具一闪即逝；然后，最带劲儿的，就是这首“where is my mind？”的旋律的响起。

这首非常有想象力的歌曲由80年代末的一支著名的摇滚乐队pixies所演绎，出自他们最好的专辑“surfer rosa”。如果没有这支乐队，后来的nirvana等90年代的巨星不知要走多少弯路。我认为，他们对摇滚乐的贡献，远比nirvana要多。
